The students were able to run their project ideas through two GaTECH students, their teachers, family and freinds. They had to put their written idea in the chat during the zoom session and the guys gave them very valuable feedback. This caused some of the students to know that they had to revamp their idea so that their project could solve a need in this world in terms of Covid-19.

The students students went through the entire Engineering Design Process to finally come up with their completed projects. Some of the students worked even harder to make sure that they were able to make the Microbit function in their project.
Learners are producers and not merely consumers of technology through the development of multi-media products, digital journals, BLOG posts, websites, coding and programming, robotics, augmented/virtual/mixed reality tools, Apps, digital probes to collect data, O365 tools, etc. CTLS - houses all of the students work through the digital sessions for the entire year.

This summer, I attended the workshop by Katie Henry who is a part of the Micro:bit Educational Foundation. She taught how to use the Micro:bits and I taught it to the students so that they can make their projects.

Student Reflections and Technology

For their projects, students were asked to do two things. First, they needed to create a Flipgrid video that explained how they made their project. Second, they need to create a Flipgrid video reflection on their project and the process.

Real Life 3D Printing
Students were in awe as they saw their creations getting printed. They learned that the reason that it takes so long to print is because the printer is printing their design layer by layer.
Rubrics and Checklists
Learners are encouraged to self-assess (using rubrics, checklists, etc.) and reflect on their learning
